Eire Og’s three County minor hurling titles have a family connection. Each of the three Heffernan borthers played. Liam in 1969, Brian in 1977 and John in 1978.

Borrisokane were County U21 Football champions in 1981 but Nenagh Eire Og defeated them in the North final which was played afer the county final.

Philip Kennedy became the first player ever to receive the All-Ireland U/21 Hurling trophy on two occasions in 1981. 1980 was his first occasion.

Terry Moloney won an All Ireland Senior medal with Tipperary in 1958 and from the full forward position helped Eire Og to North final success in 1964. His nephew, Conor O'Donovan is a dual All Ireland Senior winner (1989, 1991) and is the proud holder of 3 North Senior medals. Terry was from the Tipperary town area and Conor from Effin in Co. Limerick. Work brought both men to Nenagh whereupon they transferred their allegiance to the blues.

Both County Junior titles were achieved with 14 men. Donie O'Brien in 1983 and Declan Bailey in 2000 had the mis-fortune to be red carded; both events occurred in the first half of the respective county finals.
- P.J. Maxwell captained Tipperary at Minor level in 1977 and at U21 level in 1980 and became the first clubman to bring home silver as captain of a successful Tipperary Team.

Robbie Tomlinson captained Tipperary at Minor level in 1992 and at U21 level in 1994.

Nenagh Eire Og became the first Tipperary team to reach a Feile final in 1972. Eire Og’s captain on that occasion was former club chairman, Jimmy Minogue.
- Nenagh Eire Og together with Kiruane jointly hold the record for successive victories (4 in-a-row) in the Tipperary County U21 hurling Championship. Eire Og were victorious in 1979, '80, 81 and '82.
- Is it a record? For the years 1990 and 1991, Michael Cleary had a 96% success rate from frees from all club and county games which he played.
- Declan O’Meara was a winner of an All-Ireland U-21 medal in 1995 when Tipperary defeated Kilkenny in the final. Declan O’Meara is a nephew of Mick Burns who won five all- Ireland senior hurling medals with Tipperary, 1958, 61,62,64 and 65.
- Phil Hennessy (Snr) was nominated at left half forward in the Sunday Independent lists of the best players ever who did not win an All-Ireland medal.
