Féile na nGael, the national festival of Hurling, Camogie and Handball for boys and girls under 14 years, came to town on the weekend of 19th to the 21st June when the Nenagh Eire Og club hosted the Dublin respresentatives, Ballyboden St Enda's.

The Nenagh Eire Og team defeated Ballyboden (Dublin champions) and Clarecastle (Clare champions) to win their group and reach the All-Ireland semi-final before being beaten by Dicksboro (Kilkenny champions). Well done to everyone associated with the team. Pictured are the Nenagh Eire Og team that took part.

Anthony Walsh: Under 12 player, excellent centre back and freetaker, citeog with powerful delivery
Michael Collins: Captain of Under 14 squad, strong, aggressive player at corner or wing back, great defender with strong clearances
Donnacha Quinn: Very commanding fullback, Recent winner of Cummins medal with North Tipperary, excellent striker of sliotar on both sides
Aodhan Geaney: Dependable cornerback, tight marker, still another year at Under 14, great clearances
Oisin Ryan: versatile at either wing, still another year at Under 14, very good ground hurler
Barry Heffernan: Winner of Cummins medal with North Tipp recently, pivotal player at centre back, midfield or centre forward
Killian Gleeson: Key half back player, Very strong under dropping ball, Winner of Cummins medal with North Tipp, very agile and assertive
Philip Hickey: Very tenacious, an opponent’s nightmare, can play in any position, under 14 again next year
Shane Hennessey: Under 12 player with great ability, citeog who represented Tipperary Primary Schools recently, very skilful with great aerial ability
James Mackey: Another to represent North Tipp in Cummins tournament, terrific pace and energy, freetaker and prolific scorer
Conor Ryan: skilful player with great pace, also comfortable at midfield, Under 14 again next year,
Andrew Coffey: Represented Tipperary Primay Schools recently, commanding player either as a back or forward, difficult to mark
Gary Howard: very skilful on both sides, aggressive with a strong puck, likes to attack defences
Paul O Leary: Tall commanding player with good aerial ability, represented North Tipperary in football
Michael Hallinan: skilful player with great determination, also competent as ‘net-minder’ with a great delivery
Paul Browne: Skilful forward with a good strike of the sliotar, a citeog with an eye for scores
Christopher Ryan: newest panel member with electric pace and power, great progress in a very short time
John Cahalan: very comfortable at wing back or wing forward, great striker of the sliotar, another year at under 14
Jack Sheedy: another young player with super skill, can play at either end of the pitch as well as in goals
Jack Molamphy: underage again next year, great pace with excellent skill and quick delivery
Aidan Healy; also underage next year, very determined with a ‘never give up’ approach, skilful even in goals
Brian Flynn: another of the younger crop of players, skilful cornerback and a tight marker
Jack O Brien: very tidy forward with great skill of both sides, excellent goalkeeper with great reflexes
Aaron Hogan: Under 12 goalkeeper: good shot-stopper with a fine puckout ,competent under dropping ball
Gerard O Gorman: consistent cornerback with powerful clearances, tight marker with good aerial ability
Niall O Gorman: keen competitor who can fill back or forward position, underage again next year.
