"Our home club is where it begins for us all and for that reason it occupies a special place in us all. It's where we are first introduced to the games and it very quickly assumes a badge of identity that in many cases comes second only to our family allegiances”
On Saturday afternoon the 20th June from 4pm to 8pm, the Nenagh Eire Og GAA club will be celebrating its Lá na gClub as part of the GAA's 125 Celebrations.
This promises to be a great club occasion and a series of events are being organized with a special emphasis on family, fun, games and culture. There will also be a historical exhibition on display with numerous memorabilia from the club’s history including specific playing gear, video clips, match programs, photographs.
The evening will be all about re-affirming the place of the Nenagh Eire Og GAA club at the very heart of the Nenagh community and offers every person involved in any capacity with the club, past and present, an opportunity to come together on this unique occasion. We would especially like to welcome new people in the community and in particular people who may have lost contact with the club from previous years to avail of this opportunity to acquaint themselves and their families with the Club activities.
