Club installs a Defibrillator
The club have just purchased a Defibrillator and it will be installed in the Complex in the near future. Hopefully the necessity to use it will not occur, but in the event of a player or a spectator suffering a heart attack while on the grounds, it will, in the hands of a trained user, be a valuable aid to saving a life. Bartley Ryna gave a demonstration in it use at our last committee meeting and four people ( Bartley Ryan, Jim Kennedy, Michael Geaney and Michael McGrath ) have now completed a training course in the proper use of the Defibrillator.
