Summer camp 2008
Over 130 boys and girls had a very enjoyable week in glorious sunshine at summer camp 2008. Thanks to Nenagh Credit Union for their sponsorship. A special thanks to all our coaches who helped out and to Liam Flannery who co-ordinated the week. Thanks also to the Camogie Club for their assistance.
Friday was a very exciting day with the arrival of Tipperary senior hurler Shane Mc Grath. Shane visited the different groups and was busy signing autographs for the boys and girls.
We also had the use of an “obstacle course” thanks to Liam Heffernan. All the participants received “goodie bags” on the last day. Thanks to Christy and Brendan Manning for their sponsorship with sweets, etc.
